Abstract
Character education is very important to carry out, not just a formality to meet educational standards in Indonesia. Considering the lack of characters in Magetan. For example, elementary school students in Magetan commit immoral acts on social media. So the aim of this research is to find out the effectiveness of the Penaram Project for Strengthening Pancasila Student Profiles in Shaping the Character of High Class Elementary School Students in Magetan District. This type of research uses quantitative research with survey methods. The population in this study was 138 teachers. A sample of 58 teachers was taken referring to the Slovin formula. In this research, a questionnaire was used to collect respondent data. The sampling technique for this research uses proportional random sampling. This research uses validation tests, CVR tests, reliability tests and hypothesis tests. The research results showed that: 1) Validity test, 3 lecturers validated the questionnaire with 13 statements and all were said to be essential; 2) CVR test, getting result 1 with very high criteria; 3) Reliability Test, producing a figure of 0.971103 which is said to be reliable because the resulting value is >0.70; 4) Hypothesis Test, Implementation of the Project for Strengthening the Profile of Pancasila Students is Effectively Used in Shaping the Character of High Class Elementary School Students in Magetan District by getting a score of 81% with the remaining 19%. This means that 81% of respondents who answered strongly agree and 19% of those who answered strongly disagree. To strengthen this research, there are journals that have similarities in their studies and results. There are 6 journals presented to strengthen the evidence for this research. The six journals obtained similar results, namely that the application of P5 was effective or useful for forming students' character. However, it also has challenges in implementation, such as teachers' lack of knowledge about implementing P5 in accordance with government regulations.
