Abstract

This study aims to describe the development of canva application-based animated video learning media for elementary school students. The subjects of this study were fourth grade teachers and fourth grade students of SDN Sidomulyo 01 in the 2023/2024 school year, totaling 18 students. The instruments of this research are observation, interviews, teacher and student response questionnaires and documentation. The development of canva-based animated video learning media on the ability to read descriptive text in grade IV SD is made based on existing needs and potential, learning media developed in Indonesian language lessons on color material and the meaning of traffic signs which have learning objectives in students can interpret and can understand the color material and the meaning of traffic signs so that the media is developed so that it can help students in learning to understand the material, besides the media is easy and efficient to use and easy for students and teachers to use. The results showed that the canva application-based animated video learning media was created based on existing needs and potential, learning media developed in Indonesian language lessons that have learning objectives in students can interpret and can understand the material. So that the media is developed so that it can help students in learning. In addition, this animated video learning media is efficient to use and easy for students and teachers to use.
