Keywords: Observation Report Text, Vlog, Project-Based Learning, Writing Skills, Elementary School This research is motivated by the low ability of elementary school students in composing observation report texts systematically and according to proper structure. Learning that is still theoretical makes it difficult for students to connect observation results with coherent and factual writing. Therefore, a contextual and activity-based learning innovation is needed, one of which is the implementation of vlog media in a Project-Based Learning model. The objective of this study is to improve students’ skills in writing observation report texts and to describe the process and outcomes of implementing vlog media in project-based learning. This study employs a qualitative approach with a classroom action research (CAR) design conducted in two cycles. The subjects were fourth-grade students of SD Negeri 2 Masaran, Kabupaten Trenggalek. Data were collected through observation, interviews, observation report writing tests, and documentation. The data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative techniques with the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The findings indicate that the implementation of vlog media in Project-Based Learning significantly improves students’ skills in composing observation report texts. Students better understand text structure, are able to present observation results coherently and factually, and become more active during the learning process. In addition, students show high enthusiasm as they are directly involved in observation activities and vlog creation. In conclusion, the implementation of vlog media in Project-Based Learning is effective in improving observation report writing skills of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 2 Masaran, Kabupaten Trenggalek.
