Teguh Suharto, M.Pd, Supervisor II: Dr. Dwi Rohman Soleh, M.Pd Keywords: pedagogical competence, work motivation, teacher performance This research is motivated by the importance of teacher performance in determining learning quality, yet variations in performance are still found, presumably influenced by pedagogical competence and work motivation. The objective is to examine the effect of pedagogical competence and work motivation, both partially and simultaneously, on the performance of grade VI teachers. This study employs a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression method. The subjects were grade VI teachers at public elementary schools in Gugus 3, Kecamatan Parang. Data were collected through questionnaires on pedagogical competence, work motivation, and teacher performance, then analyzed using multiple linear regression. The findings reveal that: (1) pedagogical competence has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance; (2) work motivation has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance; and (3) pedagogical competence and work motivation simultaneously have a significant effect on teacher performance. In conclusion, enhancing pedagogical competence and work motivation together can improve teacher performance. Therefore, it is recommended that schools and supervisors provide continuous training and planned strengthening of work motivation.
