Keywords: listening, fairy tales, cooperative story models, and puppet media This study aims to describe and explain (1) the application of cooperative story model with wayang gambar media can improve learning to listen to fairy tales in class II students of Tanjung 3 State Elementary School, Bendo District, Magetan Regency, and (2) the learning outcomes of class II students of Tanjung 3 State Elementary School, Bendo District, Magetan Regency in learning to listen to fairy tales using cooperative story model with wayang gambar media. This study is a classroom action research with two research cycles. The results of this study are (1) the application of cooperative story model with wayang gambar media can improve learning to listen to fairy tales in class II students of Tanjung 3 State Elementary School, Bendo District, Magetan Regency. This is proven by the observation of teacher activities obtaining a score of 35 with a percentage of 87.5% (very good criteria). Observation of student activities obtained an average score of 24.38 with a percentage of 87.33% (very good criteria), and (2) the learning outcomes of class II students of Tanjung 3 State Elementary School, Bendo District, Magetan Regency in learning to listen to fairy tales using cooperative story model with wayang gambar media has increased. This is indicated by an increase in learning outcomes in In the first cycle, the average score was 67.27 with a learning completion rate of 59.10%, and in the second cycle, the average score was 70.9 with a learning completion rate of 68.2%. Then, in the first cycle, the average score was 73.8 with a completion rate of 77.3%, and in the second cycle, the average score was 85.4 with a completion rate of 90.9%.
