Supervisors: (I) Dr. V Teguh Suharto, M.Pd., (II) Dr. Kodrat Eko Putro Setiawan, M.Pd Keywords: Fable; Animation; PID; Positive Character; Appreciation Ability This study aims to: (1) Test the effectiveness of Digital Interactive Board-based Fable Animation Media in fable appreciation learning in class II of SDN Maron, SDN Mantren, SDN Pelem and SDN Manisrejo in the 2025/2026 academic year, (2) Test the influence of positive characters on fable appreciation abilities in class II, (3) Test the interaction between the use of Digital Interactive Board-based fable animation media and positive characters in fable appreciation abilities. This study employed a quasi-experimental method and a quantitative experimental approach. The sampling technique used total sampling. Data collection techniques included tests (pretest and posttest), questionnaires, supporting observations, and documentation. Hypothesis testing was conducted using the F test or two-factorial ANOVA. The results of the study show that animated learning media effectively increases the ability to appreciate fables. This is evidenced by the average acquisition of the animation group of 87.84, higher than the conventional group of 82.96. And the results of the F test analysis are 42.914 with a significance of 0.000 <0.05. Then there is the influence of positive thinking characters on the ability to appreciate fables. The average appreciation of fable literature in the high positive character group is higher, namely 89.53 and the low positive character is 81.21. And the results of the F test analysis are 129.971 with a significance level of 0.000 <0.05. Animation media and positive thinking characters together effectively increase the ability to appreciate fables. This is evidenced by the results of the F test analysis of 6.863. The significance level is 0.010 <0.05. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of the independent variables in this study, namely animated learning media and positive thinking characters on the ability to appreciate fables in class II students of SDN Maron, SDN Manisrejo, SDN Mantren and SDN Pelem.
