Abstract
Setya Pangastuti. 2026. The Effect of the Project-Based Learning Model Assisted by Elektrokit Box Media on the IPAS (Science and Social Studies) Learning Motivation of Fifth-Grade Students at SDN Bangunsari 02 Madiun Regency Reviewed by Gender. Undergraduate Thesis. Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program, FKIP, Universitas PGRI Madiun. Advisors (I) Dr. Dahlia Novarianing Asri, M.Si., (II) Dr. Liya Atika Anggrasari, S.Pd., M.Pd. Key Terms: Project-Based Learning, Elektrokit Box, IPAS Learning Motivation, Gender. This research was motivated by the low IPAS learning motivation of fifth-grade students at SDN Bangunsari 02 Madiun Regency. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model assisted by Elektrokit Box media on the IPAS learning motivation of fifth-grade students reviewed by gender. The research method used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, specifically the Non-equivalent Control Group Design. The research population included all fifth-grade students, totaling 49 children, divided into an experimental class (25 students) and a control class (24 students) using the total sampling technique. Data were collected through Likert scale questionnaires in the form of pretest and posttest, then analyzed using N-Gain scores and a Two-Way ANOVA test via SPSS 25. The results showed that: (1) there was a significant effect of the implementation of the PjBL model assisted by Elektrokit Box media on students' IPAS learning motivation (Sig. 0.000 < 0.05), with the average N-Gain score of the experimental class being higher than that of the control class; (2) there was no significant difference in IPAS learning motivation between male and female students (Sig. 0.148 > 0.05); and (3) there was no significant interaction between the PjBL model assisted by Elektrokit Box media and gender on students' IPAS learning motivation (Sig. 0.170 > 0.05).
