Abstract

This study aims to develop Google Sites-based learning media utilizing the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) model to enhance the short story writing skills of elementary school students. Employing the Research and Development (R&D) method, the study produced digital learning media that is practical, engaging, and user-friendly for Indonesian language instruction. Media expert validation yielded a score of 85.5% (categorized as highly feasible), while content and language expert validation achieved 97% (also highly feasible). Student response questionnaires regarding the media's use showed a 96% positive response rate, and teacher feedback reached 94%. Based on these results, the NHT-based Google Sites media is deemed highly suitable for teaching short story writing in elementary schools. The media supports active, enjoyable, and interactive learning while helping students understand the short story writing process systematically.
