Abstract

In the science lesson, the human digestive system material still uses conventional models and lacks the use of technology in learning media, making students tend to be passive and bored in following the learning so that the material is not conveyed well. Some students showed obstacles in mastering the human digestive system material because it is conceptual and lacks interesting visualization in its delivery. The rapid development of technology is expected to be able to give rise to new innovations in a teacher, especially in science learning to optimize student learning interest. This study aims to develop ScienceLab Genially learning media with the Mordiscvein model in elementary school science learning. This study includes development research or Research and Development (R&D) using the Borg and Gall model which goes through 10 stages and three trials. The subjects of this study were 44 fifth grade students of SDN 01 Manisrejo. Data collection techniques were observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. Based on the validation results, the media expert obtained a percentage of 84.5% including very feasible criteria, the material expert obtained a percentage of 82.3% including very feasible criteria, the language expert obtained a percentage of 88% including very feasible criteria, and the student response obtained an average score of 92.8% including very feasible criteria and the teacher response obtained a percentage of 85.4% including very feasible criteria. So, the results of this study are that the ScienceLab Genially media with the Mordiscvein model is suitable for use as a learning medium on the human digestive system material for fifth grade elementary school students.
