Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Liquidity, Sales Growth, and Company Size towards Financial Distress (A Case Study of the Food and Beverage Sub-Sector Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in the 2022-2024 Period). This study used quantitative methods. The population of this study was Food and Beverage Sub-Sector Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) that published annual reports that have been fully audited by an accountant during 2022-2024 period. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with 78 companies. Data analysis was carried out using SPSS version 25. Data analysis used multiple linear regression, classical assumption tests, hypothesis tests, and coefficient of determination tests. These results demonstrate that Liquidity has a positive and significant effect towards Financial Distress. Meanwhile, sales growth has no significant effect towards financial distress. Furthermore, company size has a positive and significant effect towards financial distress.
