Abstract

This study aims to analyze the potential power of a Solar Power Plant (PLTS) planned to be installed on the rooftop of the Integrated Laboratory of Universitas PGRI Madiun. The research method was carried out through simulation using the PVsyst software, which provides accurate estimations of energy production from the PV system. The analysis stages include system performance simulation, calculation of the load that can be supplied by the PV system, and estimation of monthly cost savings. The proposed PV system in this study is designed with 96 Monocrystalline Trina Solar TSM-DE19-550Wp Vertex panels and a 50 kW inverter. The simulation results indicate that the system has the potential to generate 89,400 kWh/year. With this capacity, the system is able to supply 51.76% of the laboratory’s total energy demand. In addition, the implementation of this PV system is projected to result in monthly electricity cost savings of IDR 12,661,573.
