Abstract

Hamzah. 2025. Interactive Quiz Game Application Based on Android for English Language Learning. Study Program of Informatics Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas PGRI Madiun. Advisors: (I) Yessi Yunitasari, S.Kom., M.Cs, (II) Alim Citra Aria Bima, S.Pd., M.Kom. This study aims to develop and evaluate an Android-based Interactive Quiz Game Application as a learning medium for English language subjects targeted at vocational high school (SMK) students. The background of this research is rooted in the low learning interest of students in English, mainly due to the lack of interactive teaching methods. The research adopted the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method. The application was developed using Construct 3 software as the platform for creating Android applications. The learning material is presented in the form of lessons on passive voice. The feasibility testing, conducted using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method, indicated that the application achieved a usability score of 70, which means it is suitable for use in learning activities. This research shows that the use of an interactive quiz game-based learning medium can enhance students’ motivation, engagement, and comprehension.
