Abstract

A Decision Support System (DSS) is an effective solution to assist in complex decision-making processes, particularly in multi-criteria evaluation. This study aims to design and develop a web-based system using the Profile Matching method to support the selection of the best employee at CV. Aneka Rimba Usaha. The Profile Matching method was chosen for its ability to measure the compatibility between employee competencies and predetermined ideal criteria. The system was developed using the CodeIgniter 3 framework and implemented as a web application accessible by both HRD staff and employees. The system development followed the Extreme Programming (XP) methodology, including planning, design, coding, and testing phases. System evaluation was conducted using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method, which achieved a score of 87, classified as "Excellent" according to standard interpretation. The system provides objective employee rankings, contributing to increased transparency, efficiency, and fairness in the selection process of the best employee.
