Abstract

The design of an e-commerce website is one of the digital solutions aimed at facilitating online buying and selling transactions in a more efficient, structured, and modern way. Andy Sport Store currently still sells offline and through direct communication on social media. This method is considered less effective because it has limitations in reaching a wider market, and the transaction process is still manual so that it has the potential to cause delays and errors in data recording. This study aims to design and build a website-based e-commerce system to improve operational efficiency and expand market coverage digitally. System development is carried out using the Waterfall method, which consists of the stages of needs analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. This system is built using the Laravel framework for the programming side, and MySQL as a database system that functions to store product data, transactions, and user data. The implementation of this system is expected to help stores manage sales transactions quickly and practically, expand market reach and ease the online ordering process. Testing is carried out using the Blackbox Testing method to evaluate the functionality of each feature. The test results show that all features run according to specifications and have met the operational needs of Andy Sport Store functionally.
