Abstract

This study aims to explain the effect of using ear diorama media on student learning outcomes in 5th grade elementary school science learning. The approach used is a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design and the Non-Equivalent Control Group Design method. The sample used was 17 students of class 5A (experimental class) and 17 students of class 5B (control class). The test was an instrument in the form of multiple-choice questions for the pre-test and post-test as a data collection used in this study. According to the research findings, students in the experimental group significantly exceeded students in the control group in terms of learning outcomes. With a post-test mean of the experimental group of 83.24 while the control group was 67.65. An independent t-test was used to test the hypothesis, and the significance value (2-tailed) was 0.003 <0.05, there was a significant difference in the two groups. Thus, the use of ear diorama media can influence students' understanding of student learning outcomes in science learning. Keywords: Ear Diorama Media, Science, Learning Outcomes
