Abstract
Learning outcomes are abilities obtained by students through the learning process with learning outcomes that can determine the extent of students' abilities in understanding learning. However, in fifth-grade mathematics learning with student learning outcome indicators on the arithmetic operation of whole number multiplication, there are still many students who have not mastered multiplication. This can be seen through tests that have been given to students. This study was conducted with the aim of determining whether the use of the RME approach assisted by wordwall media is effective in providing significant changes in the learning outcomes of fifth-grade elementary school students. This study uses a quantitative approach with a time series research type using Interrupted Time Series Design. This design uses one class. The research population is fifth-grade students of SDN Jiwan 02. The sample used is 12 students. In this study, two tests were used, namely pre-test and post-test in fifth-grade mathematics learning with the material of multiplication operations of whole numbers up to 100,000. Based on the results of the study, there was a significant increase from the use of the RME approach assisted by wordwall media, from an average value of 54.17 to 85.00. The hypothesis test shows that the p-value <0.01 is 0.001 <0.01. So it can be stated that the RME approach assisted by wordwall media provides a significant increase in the learning outcomes of fifth grade elementary school students.
