Keywords: reading, starters, media, and flashcard digital adaptif This study aims to describe (1) the application of flashcard digital adaptif media can improve the beginning reading skills of second-grade students of Krowe 1 Elementary School, Lembeyan District, Magetan Regency and (2) the learning outcomes of second-grade students of Krowe 1 Elementary School, Lembeyan District, Magetan Regency in learning beginning reading using flashcard digital adaptif media. This study is a classroom action research with two research cycles. The results of this study are (1) the application of flashcard digital adaptif media can improve the beginning reading skills of second-grade students of Krowe 1 Elementary School, Lembeyan District, Magetan Regency. In the first cycle, the average score of students was 73 which, if categorized into a scale of five, is in the moderate category and the average score of the second cycle increased to 87 which, if categorized into a scale of five, is in the good category. This means that there is an increase in beginning reading skills with the application of flashcard digital adaptif media in second-grade students, and (2) the learning outcomes of second-grade students of Krowe 1 Elementary School, Lembeyan District, Magetan Regency in learning to read beginning using flashcard digital adaptif media have increased. This is proven in the first cycle, there were 8 students (53%) who completed the beginning reading using picture word card media in second grade and in the second cycle, 13 students (87%) completed understanding the ability to read beginning with the application of flashcard digital adaptif media in second grade students.
