Abstract
ABSTRACT Harmadji. 2026. “Application of Project Based Learning Model in Poetry Writing Instruction in Grade V of SDN Kedungpanji 2”,: Thesis, Masters Department of Indonesian Language and Literature Education, University PGRI Madiun, Supervisor (1) Dr Elva Nuraina, M.Si. (2) Dr. Sigit Ricahyono, S. S.,M.Pd. The purpose of this study is to analyze the implementation of the project-based learning model in teaching poetry writing to fifth-grade elementary school students. This study utilizes a qualitative descriptive method with a phenomenological research design. This approach and research type were selected to describe in detail the implementation of the Project-Based Learning model in teaching poetry writing to fifth-grade students at SDN Kedungpanji 2, Magetan Regency. The results of the study show that the teacher's steps in implementing learning using the Project-Based Learning model were executed well, as reflected by the assigned score qualifications. The implementation of the poetry writing learning process using the Project-Based Learning model was carried out in several stages, starting with posing essential questions, designing a project plan, creating a schedule, monitoring, assessing the outcome, and evaluation. The conclusion of this study is that the fifth-grade Indonesian language teacher successfully implemented the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model, resulting in a project of poetry works created by all students with an average score of "good."
