Abstract

This studyto explore the implementation of the Deep Learning method in digital classroom-based Indonesian language learning and its implications for improving students' reading literacy at MIN 2 Magetan. The study is motivated by the importance of strengthening reading literacy skills in the digital era, where students are expected not only to read but also to comprehend, analyze, and critically interpret information. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach. The participants of the study included Indonesian language teachers and students at MIN 2 Magetan. Data were collected through classroom observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, which consists of data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. These processes were carried out continuously until the data reached saturation and validity. The findings indicate that the implementation of the Deep Learning method, supported by digital media and learning platforms, contributes to the improvement of Indonesian language learning by encouraging active student participation and enhancing reading literacy through activities that involve understanding, processing, and reflecting on reading materials. In addition, the digital learning environment provides opportunities for students to engage in more interactive and collaborative learning experiences. Therefore, the implementation of the Deep Learning method in digital classrooms has significant potential to support the enhancement of students' reading literacy in Islamic elementary schools.
