Improvement of Simple Sentence Writing Skills through the Think Pair Share Type Cooperative Learning Model Assisted by Picture Card Media in Grade II Students of SD Negeri Sukomoro 1 Magetan Regency. This study aimed to improve students' simple sentence writing skills through the implementation of the Think Pair Share (TPS) cooperative learning model assisted by picture card media for second-grade students at SD Negeri Sukomoro 1, Magetan Regency. The study was motivated by the students' low writing skills, as indicated by difficulties in constructing simple sentences based on the Subject–Predicate–Object (S–P–O) pattern, improper use of capital letters and punctuation, and low learning achievement. This research employed the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which consisted of two cycles: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were nine second-grade students of SD Negeri Sukomoro 1, Magetan Regency. Data were collected through tests, observations, interviews, and documentation, and were analyzed using descriptive quantitative and qualitative techniques. The findings revealed that the implementation of the Think Pair Share (TPS) cooperative learning model assisted by picture card media effectively improved students' simple sentence writing skills. This improvement was evidenced by the increase in the mean score from 67.22 in the pre-cycle to 73.33 in Cycle I and further to 83.89 in Cycle II. The learning mastery percentage also increased from 55.6% in the pre-cycle to 77.8% in Cycle I and reached 88.9% in Cycle II. Therefore, the Think Pair Share (TPS) cooperative learning model assisted by picture card media is effective in improving the simple sentence writing skills of second-grade students at SD Negeri Sukomoro 1, Magetan Regency.
