Siti Holifah. 2026. Improving Teachers' Ability to Develop Indonesian Language Teaching Modules through the GROW Model: A Study of Teachers at SD Negeri Jombatan, Kesamben, Jombang. Thesis. Madiun: Magister Study Program in Indonesian Language and Literature Education, Graduate Program, Universitas PGRI Madiun. Advisor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Hanif, M.M., M.Pd.; Co-Advisor Dr. Lulus Irawati, S.S., M.Pd. Keywords: GROW Model, Lesson Module, Indonesian Language, School Action Research. This School Action Research (SAR) was motivated by the low ability of teachers to develop lesson modules (modul ajar), particularly in the Indonesian Language subject. Teachers tended to engage in plagiarism, such as copying and pasting or merely downloading learning materials from the internet without making contextual adaptations. This study aimed to enhance teachers' competence in designing lesson modules through the implementation of the GROW (Goal, Reality, Options, Will) supervision model. The research approach employed a descriptive analytical review with a more dominant qualitative portion to provide a deep illustration of the behavioral changes and improvement in teachers' capabilities. Data collection techniques were conducted through document analysis of the constructed lesson modules and direct observations of teachers' commitment during the mentoring and supervision process. Through the GROW stages, teachers were guided to identify real obstacles in the classroom, explore alternative solutions, and build independent thinking in designing learning structures. The results indicated that the application of the GROW model was proven effective and significantly improved teachers' ability to develop independent, adaptive, and systematic Indonesian Language lesson modules. This improvement positively impacted the creation of more meaningful and student-centered learning environments.
