Abstract
Deswina Fitria Kurniawati. Development of QR Code-Based KARAWA (Javanese Script Cards) Learning Media to Support Javanese Language Learning Achievement for Grade IV Elementary School Students. Undergraduate Thesis. Primary School Teacher Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas PGRI Madiun. Supervisors: (I) Dr. Endang Sri Maruri, M.Pd., (II) Sesaria Prima Yudhaningtyas, M.Pd. Key Terms : Media Development, Karawa, QR Code, Learning Achievement, Javanese Language, Elementary School, ADDIE. This study aims to develop KARAWA (Javanese Script Cards) media—integrated with QR codes—as a learning tool for teaching Javanese script to fourth-grade elementary school students. The study employs the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which comprises five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Conducted at SDN Wayut 03 in Madiun Regency, the study involved 12 fourth-grade students as research subjects. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Validation was performed by media, subject matter, and language experts. The validation results indicated that the KARAWA media achieved feasibility scores of 89.33% from the subject matter expert, 86% from the language expert, and 84% from the media expert, placing it in the "Very Valid" category. Additionally, teacher and student responses were 96% and 90.83%, respectively, while the average score on evaluation questions following the use of the learning media was 92.5%. These results demonstrate that the QR code-based KARAWA media is highly suitable for use in Javanese language instruction for fourth-grade elementary students.
