Abstract

This research was motivated by the fact that existing learning media for the Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) subject lacked interactivity, causing students to struggle with understanding the topic of light. The study aimed to develop an Educaplay-integrated E-Module on light and to determine its feasibility as a learning medium for fifth-grade elementary school students. The research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which encompasses the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation; the study was limited to the development and evaluation stages. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and subsequently analyzed using quantitative and qualitative descriptive techniques. The results showed that the E-Module achieved validation percentages of 86% from media experts (highly feasible), 80% from subject matter experts (feasible), and 98% from language experts (highly feasible), with an overall average of 88% (highly feasible). Teacher and student responses yielded percentages of 91% and 91.3%, respectively, placing the module in the "highly feasible" category. Thus, the Educaplay-integrated E-Module on light is suitable for use as an IPAS learning medium for fifth-grade elementary school students.
