The study aims to identify the perceptions and experiences of eleventh-grade students at Vocational Students at SMK Negeri 3 Madiun regarding the use of ChatGPT as an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Assisting learning media in English writing. The research focuses on identifying how students perceive the usefulness and ease of use of ChatGPT, the challenges they encounter, and the extent to which the tool influences their writing process and quality. The research employed a descriptive qualitative design. Data were gathered from six eleventh-grade students through three primary techniques: in-depth interviews, non-participatory classroom observations, and documentation studies involving lesson plans and school policies. The data were analyzed using thematic analysis, which included data familiarization, initial coding, and the interpretation of themes based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM).
