Abstract

This research aims to describe (1) the use of the mind map method assisted by photo media to improve the ability to write personal experiences of class V students at SDN Karangrejo 1, Kendal District, Ngawi Regency and (2) the response of class V students at SDN Karangrejo 1, Kendal District, Ngawi Regency to learning to write experiences. Personally using the mind map method assisted by photo media. This research is classroom action research with two research cycles. The results of this research are (1) Learning to write personal experiences using the mind map method assisted by photo media for class V students at SDN Karangrejo 1, Kendal District, Ngawi Regency has increased. The average value obtained in cycle I was 64.5, while in cycle II the average value obtained was 79.6, and (2) Student responses in learning to write personal experiences using the mind map method assisted by photo media for class V students at SDN Karangrejo 1 Kendal District, Ngawi Regency, there was a change to positive student response indicators.
