Keywords: speaking, student facilitator and explaining, and videos media This study aims to implement (1) the cooperative learning model of the Student Facilitator And Explaining type assisted by videos media to improve the speaking skills of Class II students at SDN Kalitidu 1, Kalitidu District, Bojonegoro Regency and (2) analyze the speaking skill of Class II students of SDN Kalitidu 1, Kalitidu District, Bojonegoro Regency through the use of the cooperative learning model of the Student Facilitator And Explaining type assisted by videos media. This research is a classroom action research conducted with two cycles. The results this study indicate that (1) the use of the cooperative learning model of the Student Facilitator and Explaining type assisted by videos media can improve the speaking skills of Class II students at SDN Kalitidu 1, Kalitidu District, Bojonegoro Regency showing improvement in the stages of planning, implementation, and evaluation stages. This is evidenced by the learning process of the second cycle, which was more effective and satisfactory with maximum results. Students became more enthusiastic and motivated be actively participate in learning, and students begin to have the greater courage and confidence to speak in expressing their opinions, and (2) the speaking skill of second-grade students of SDN Kalitidu 1, Kalitidu District, Bojonegoro Regency in speaking instruction using the cooperative learning model of the student facilitator and explaining type assisted by video media also showed improvement. The average overall student score in cycle I was 70.3 while in cycle II was 87.76 with a percentage increase of 17.46%. All assessment aspects were classified as moderate in cycle I and increased to the very high category in cycle II.
