The Influence of Good Habits Based on Discovery Learning on the Short Story Review Text Writing Skills of Fifth Grade Students of Pejok II Kedungadem Elementary School, Bojonegoro. Thesis. PGRI Madiun University. Supervisors, (1) Prof. Dr. Marheni Lukitasari, M.Pd., (2) Dr. Cerianing Putri Pratiwi, M.Pd. Keywords: Good Habits, Discovery Learning, Writing Skills, Short Stories. This study aims to describe the influence of good habits based on Discovery Learning on the skills of writing short story review texts in class V of Pejok II Kedungadem Bojonegoro State Elementary School. It is seen from the activities of students, teachers, student responses, and student learning. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative, while the data obtained from this study are class V students of Pejok II Kedungadem Bojonegoro State Elementary School. The results of this study indicate that as a result of observations of students, the effectiveness of learning to write short stories using implementing good habits based on Discovery Learning for class V students of Pejok II Kedungadem Bojonegoro State Elementary School is obtained from learning outcome indicators using very good results in learning to write short stories with good habits based on Discovery Learning as follows: (1) students listen carefully, note important points, and understand information related to short story review texts. (2) students actively participate in finding elements of short story review texts, such as themes, characters. (3) This discussion provides an opportunity for students to work together, exchange ideas and understanding. The responses of fifth-grade students of Pejok II Elementary School, Kedungadem, Bojonegoro, during short story writing lessons with good habits based on Discovery Learning are as follows: able to organize inspiration, construct arguments, write using good language, students also show seriousness when completing the task of writing short story review texts in sync with the influenced time. Effective in increasing student active involvement as evidenced by the acquisition of a homogeneous activity score of 85 using the very good category, then what will happen is that good habits based on Discovery Learning in learning to write short story review texts produce very good results by fifth-grade students of Pejok II Elementary School, Kedungadem, Bojonegoro. Based on the evaluation of learning to write short story reviews using good habits based on Discovery Learning for fifth-grade students of Pejok II Elementary School, Kedungadem, Bojonegoro, conducted by the teacher with the aim of measuring student abilities before and after learning shows very good performance (63.16%). This indicates learning to write short story review texts can improve skills in writing short story reviews
