Abstract

The high level of employee intention turnover is a problem that needs serious attention from the company because it can have an impact on organizational stability and performance. This study aims to analyze the influence of compensation, competence, and employee engagement on employee turnover intention at Honda Bintang Mobil Madiun. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. Data was obtained through the distribution of questionnaires to employees as respondents, then analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that compensation had a positive and significant effect on. turnover intention, indicating that employees' perception of the compensation system played an important role in determining their desire to stay or leave the company. Competence has also been shown to have a significant effect on reducing turnover intention, where the higher the employee's competence in terms of knowledge, skills, and work experience, the lower their tendency to change jobs. In addition, employee engagement is the most dominant variable in influencing turnover intention. A high level of employee engagement, which is reflected in vigor, dedication, and absorption, is able to significantly suppress employees' desire to leave the company. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that integrated human resource management through increasing fair compensation, developing competencies, and strengthening employee engagement is very important in reducing employee intention turnover rates. This research is expected to be a consideration for management in formulating strategic policies in the field of human resources and a reference for future research.
