Abstract

This study aims to describe and explain (1) the application of the think talk write learning model assisted by natural media can improve the narrative writing skills of fifth grade students of SDN Padangan II, Padangan District, Bojonegoro Regency, and (2) the learning outcomes of sixth grade students of SDN Padangan II, Padangan District, Bojonegoro Regency in narrative writing learning using the think talk write learning model assisted by natural media. This study is a classroom action research using two cycles. The results of this study are (1) the application of the think talk write learning model assisted by natural media can improve teacher skills, student activities, and student skills in writing narratives. The think talk write model assisted by natural media can improve teacher skills, namely cycle I obtained a score of 23 with good criteria, and in cycle II obtained a score of 29 with very good criteria. The think talk write model assisted by natural media can improve student learning activities in the learning process, namely cycle I with an average score of 27.1 with good criteria, and in cycle II with an average score of 36.8 with very good criteria, and (2) Learning outcomes in cycle I obtained an average score of 61.70 and classical completeness of 66.66% with good criteria. In the implementation of cycle II actions, student learning outcomes increased with an average of 70.55 and a percentage of classical completeness of 85.18% with very good criteria.
