Abstract
ABSTRACT Paini. 2026. Improving the Narrative Text Writing Skill through Differentiation Learning by Using Project Based Learning Model at the Fourth Grade Students of SDN Karangrejo 3 Kecamatan Kendal Kabupaten Ngawi in the Lesson Year 2025/2026. Thesis. Madiun: Master's Program in Indonesian Language and Literature Education, PGRI University of Madiun. Advisors: (I) Dr. Dwi Rohman Soleh, S.S., M.Pd, Advisor (II). Dr. Agung Nasrulloh Saputro, M.Pd. The research objective is to describe improving the ability to write narrative texts through a differentiated learning model using a project based learning model for fourth grade students at SDN Karangrejo 3 Kecamatan Kendal. This classroom action research was carried out in a collaborative, participatory manner using the Kemmis and Mc.Taggart research model. The research subjects for class IV teachers and students at SDN Karangrejo 3 Kecamatan Kendal were 15 students. Data was collected using interviews, observation, narrative text writing tests, and documentation. Data collection instruments, namely interview guidelines, observation sheets, and narrative text writing skills assessment sheets. The data analysis technique for this research is a comparative descriptive analysis technique. Comparative descriptive analysis technique to compare results between cycles. The results of the research showed that there was an increase, in cycle I the average student score rose by 3% to 74. In cycle II the average score of students rose 6% to 80. Of the 15 Class IV students at SDN Karangrejo 3 Kecamatan Kendal there were 13 students or 87% Students get a score for writing narrative text above the minimum completeness criteria.
