Abstract
This study has the following objectives: (1) to determine the influence of the cooperative learning model type group investigation (GI) on the descriptive skills of fifth grade students of SDN Gugus 3, Margomulyo District, Bojonegoro, in the 2025/2026 academic year; (2) to determine the influence of achievement motivation on the descriptive skills of fifth grade students of SDN Gugus 3, Margomulyo District, Bojonegoro, in the 2025/2026 academic year; (3) to determine the interaction between the cooperative learning model type group investigation (GI) and achievement motivation in influencing the descriptive skills of fifth grade students of SDN Gugus 3, Margomulyo District, Bojonegoro, in the 2025/2026 academic year. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental research design. Data collection techniques use tests and questionnaires, and data analysis techniques use two-way ANOVA statistical techniques. The results of the study concluded: (1) there is an influence of the use of the cooperative learning model type group investigation (GI) on the ability to write descriptive texts of class VI students in Cluster 03, Margomulyo District, Bojonegoro in the 2025/2026 academic year; (2) there is an influence of achievement motivation on the ability to write descriptive texts of class VI students in Cluster 03, Margomulyo District, Bojonegoro in the 2025/2026 academic year; (3) there is an interaction between the use of the cooperative learning model type group investigation (GI) and achievement motivation in influencing the ability to write descriptive texts of class VI students in Cluster 03, Margomulyo District, Bojonegoro in the 2025/2026 academic year.
