Abstract
This study aims to describe and explain (1) the use of repetition method assisted by natural image media can improve the reading aloud skills of fifth grade students of SD Negeri 2 Pecuk, Patianrowo District, Nganjuk Regency, and (2) the learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SD Negeri 2 Pecuk, Patianrowo District, Nganjuk Regency in learning to read aloud using repetition method assisted by natural image media. This research method is using Classroom Action Research (CAR) consisting of two research cycles. The results of this study are (1) the use of repetition method assisted by natural image media in Indonesian language learning can improve oral reading skills in fifth grade students of SD Negeri 2 Pecuk, Patianrowo District, Nganjuk Regency, and (2) the learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SD Negeri 2 Pecuk, Patianrowo District, Nganjuk Regency in learning to read aloud using repetition method assisted by natural image media increased. It can be concluded that the value of teacher activity during managing learning by using repetition method on reading aloud text material is 69.11% in the good category. Cycle II is 91.17% in the very good category. The value of student activity on the material of reading aloud text by applying the repetition method to improve students' reading aloud ability in cycle I was 77.94% with a good category, cycle II was 95.58% with a very good category, (2) the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 2 Pecuk, Patianrowo District, Nganjuk Regency using the repetition method assisted by natural image media can improve students' reading aloud abilities or student learning completeness. This can be seen from the results of the analysis of 3 students who have not achieved completeness individually, while the number of students who have completed is 20 people with a percentage of 86.95% both individually and classically. Based on this analysis, students have achieved the KKM that has been set.
