Melina Jatmikawati. 2025. Improving Motivation and Learning Outcomes with the Implementation of Google Slides-Assisted Collaborative Learning in VC Class Students of SDN 01 Taman Kota Madiun. Thesis. Madiun: Master of Social Sciences Education Study Program, Graduate Faculty, University of PGRI Madiun. Supervisor (1) Dr. Ibadullah Malawi, M.Pd., (II) Dr. Sudarmiani, M.Pd. Keywords: Collaboratove Learning, Google Slides, Learning Motivation, Learning Outcomes, IPAS This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the implementation of Collaborative Learning with the help of Google Slides in improving motivation and learning outcomes of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS). This research was conducted at SDN 01 Taman Kota Madiun with 27 VC class students as research subjects. This study uses a qualitative approach with a Class Action Research (CAR) design referring to Kurt Lewin's model, including the stages of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection carried out in two cycles. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, learning outcome tests, and documentation. The results showed that the implementation of Collaborative Learning with the help of Google Slides was able to significantly increase learning motivation and learning outcomes of social studies. In the pre-cycle stage, students' motivation to learn is still relatively low (37%) and most have not reached the Learning Goal Completion Criteria (KKTP). The completion rate of classical learning only reaches 12 students or about 44%. In Cycle I, there was an increase in motivation and learning outcomes, but it did not reach the success indicators of 74% and 77%. In Cycle II, students' motivation to learn increased significantly (89%) accompanied by an increase in learning outcomes (93%). Thus, the implementation of Google Slides-assisted Collaborative Learning is effectively used as an alternative learning strategy to improve motivation and science learning outcomes in elementary schools.
