Abstract
Abstract Hamdan, 2026. Development of the Best Practice SIKAP SeBeNingMaS: SOP and Interface for the Digitalization of Holistic Learning. Thesis. Madiun: Master Program in Social Science Education, Graduate School, Universitas PGRI Madiun. Supervisors: Prof. Dr. H. Parji, M.Pd.; Prof. Dr. Drs. Muhammad Hanif, M.M., M.Pd. Keywords: Development; Best Practice; SIKAP SeBeNingMaS; Digitalization; Holistic Learning. This study aims to integrate character habituation with the digitalization of holistic learning at the junior high school level so that cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains are consistently orchestrated. The developed product is the SIKAP SeBeNingMaS best-practice package, comprising a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for character habituation, a Microsoft Teams–based Learning Management System interface designed according to user-centered design principles, and social studies (IPS) instructional modules adopting 21st Century Learning Design. The research employed a research-and-development approach following the ADDIE framework (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, prototype trials, and pretest–posttest assessments. Both qualitative and quantitative analyses were conducted to evaluate validity, practicality, user acceptance, and learning impact. Findings indicate that the product is valid and practical. Expert evaluations rated it as “Highly Feasible” (mean = 4.55/5), and teachers judged it “Highly Practical” (mean = 4.50/5). Student acceptance was positive (scores ranging from 4.05 to 4.30/5), with particular appreciation for the Assignments feature and content channels. Pretest–posttest results showed significant improvements: in the broader trial (n = 514), mean scores increased by +8.2 points with a large effect size, while in the limited trial (n = 63) both classes exhibited significant gains with medium effect sizes. Qualitative evidence confirms that the SOP strengthened affective dimensions, the user-centered interface simplified navigation and expedited task workflows, and the 21CLD modules enhanced feedback quality. The study concludes that SIKAP SeBeNingMaS is usable, useful, and adoptable on a limited scale and has strong potential for multi-site replication, provided that infrastructure is strengthened, tiered training is implemented, and adequate data governance is established.
