Abstract
This research aims to describe and explain (1) the use of the imagination suggestion method can improve the narrative writing skills of class IV students at SDN 6 Ngetos, Ngetos District, Nganjuk Regency, and (2) the learning outcomes of class IV students at SDN 6 Ngetos, Ngetos District, Nganjuk Regency in learning to write narratives. using the imagination suggestion method. This research is classroom action research using two cycles. The results of this research are (1) the use of the imagination suggestion method can improve the narrative writing skills of class IV students at SDN 6 Ngetos, Ngetos District, Nganjuk Regency. This is proven by research data on student learning activities in cycle I and cycle II in participating in learning using the imagination suggestion learning method which has increased. (2) The learning results of class IV students at SDN 6 Ngetos, Ngetos District, Nganjuk Regency in learning to write narratives using the imagination suggestion method show that the average value of the percentage of learning outcomes for writing skills in cycle I was 77.78% and in cycle II was 83.33 % or an increase of 5.55%.
