Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using Kahoot!-based Problem Based Learning (PBL) media on the critical thinking skills of fifth-grade students at SDN Pilangbango. The method used is quantitative with a posttest-only control group design. The sample consisted of 40 students divided into experimental and control classes. Data were collected through a post-test with 20 multiple-choice questions. The results showed the experimental class had a mean score of 80.25, while the control class had 69.00. Hypothesis testing using an independent sample t-test yielded a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant difference. Learning with Kahoot! improved students' motivation, participation, and critical thinking skills.
