ABSTRACT Prasetyo Kuncoro. 2025. The Use of Caricature Media to Improve the Quality of Learning Processes and Creative Writing Products Short Stories in Grade V Students SDN Lembah 02 Madiun.Thesis. Madiun: Master of Education Indonesian Language and Literature program, Graduate Program, PGRI University Madiun. Supervisor (1) Dr. Dwi Rohman Soleh, SS, M.Pd. (II) Dr. Panji Kuncoro Hadi, SS, M.Pd. Keywords: writing,caricature drawing media, quality,product This study aims to obtain a clear description of the quality of the learning process and the improvement of creative writing products of short stories with caricature drawings in grade V students of SDN Lembah 02 Madiun. The research method used was a qualitative descriptive method. Data sources used by informants, events, and documents. The informants in this study are the principal, Indonesian language teacher and students of grade V SDN Lembah 02 Madiun. The events in this study are any form of learning activities within the classroom. These research documents are RPP, syllabus, Mark list. The data collection techniques on this study used in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Data validity using method and source techniques. The results of the study showed that when learning to write through a contextual approach using the media of caricature drawings in grade V students of SDN Lembah 02 Madiun went well. The existence of cooperation between teachers and students. The teacher has done the lesson planning sequentially and in accordance with the learning objectives.
