Abstract
The Point of Sales (POS) system plays a very important role in modern business operations and aims to facilitate the transparent recording of reports with the Point of Sales system using the Laravel framework in a case study located at Cafe Porta Fighter Roastery Ngawi. Cafe Porta Fighter Roastery Ngawi is still using a manual approach. The system development method employed applies a RAD (Rapid Application Development) approach. This research begins with analyzing the needs of the POS system that fits the operational activities at Cafe Porta Fighter Roastery Ngawi, including order recording, expense recording, inventory calculation, and report printing. Rapid Application Development (RAD) is chosen as the development foundation due to its user-friendly structure. The goal of designing and building this system, especially for Cafe Porta Fighter Roastery Ngawi, is to facilitate easy order recording, expense recording, inventory calculation, and accurate report printing. After the system was completed, testing was conducted using the black box testing method to evaluate whether all features function as designed. The test results show that the POS system operates 100% normally with no errors found in the main features. It is hoped that the design and implementation of the POS system using the Laravel Framework will benefit Cafe Porta Fighter Roastery Ngawi in improving order recording, expense recording, stock counting, and report printing. This research can also serve as a reference and guide for other businesses interested in using a POS system with the Laravel Framework.
