Abstract

The use of learning media that is suitable for students' learning styles through the VAK approach is important to create a more effective and meaningful learning process. This study aims to develop VAK-based learning media in the form of a monopoly monopoly game to improve the learning outcomes of Basic Accounting students of SMK N 2 Jiwan. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model. Monopoly media was developed through the Genially platform and implemented according to the VAK learning style. Media development was carried out feasibility validation test with a percentage of material aspect feasibility of 91.25%, language aspect of 86.67%, and media aspect of 80%. After being implemented, the limited trial showed an increase in learning outcomes with an average pre-test of 65.2 and post-test of 85.8. The field test results also showed an increase from 64.2 to 87. Thus, the development of VAK-based monopoly media is proven effective in improving Basic Accounting learning outcomes.
