Abstract
This study aims to develop Nearpoint learning media based on the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model for the IPAS subject in 5th grade elementary school. The background of this research is the lack of digital media usage in learning and the dominance of lecture methods, which tend to make learning monotonous. This study employs a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE development model, which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research subjects were 13 students of grade 5 at SDN Banjarsari 01, Madiun Regency. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, validation questionnaires, as well as teacher and student response questionnaires. The Nearpoint media developed contains IPAS material, instructional videos, and interactive quizzes arranged based on the PBL approach and adapted to the characteristics of the students. The validation results from media experts obtained a score of 90%, and from material experts, a score of 92%, both of which fall into the “highly feasible” category. Teacher responses to the Nearpoint media reached 98%, and student responses were 92%, also categorized as “very good.” Therefore, the Nearpoint media based on the PBL model is declared highly feasible and effective to be used as a learning tool for IPAS to enhance student engagement and understanding.
