Abstract

This research aims to investigate the impact of using chromebook media on the Indonesian language learning outcomes of class V students at SDN Sogaten. Chromebooks are classified as multimedia learning devices because they can be useful for visual and kinesthetic learning. Google Chrome is an operating system designed for Chromebooks, such as upgradeable computers. Therefore, Chromebooks are an evolution of computers and laptops, especially in the field of learning multimedia. Researchers used a one group pretest-posttest design in the pre-experimental research method to study the causal relationship between the experimental and control groups to compare the results with 30 students in one class. The results of data analysis show that there is a positive correlation between the pretest and posttest results. The pre-test results show that students' understanding of Indonesian is relatively low. However, after using Chromebooks for learning, the post-test results showed a significant increase in learning outcomes. The research concluded that the use of Chromebooks had a positive impact on the Indonesian language learning outcomes of fifth grade students.
