Abstract

This research is motivated by the low critical thinking skills of grade XI students. The low interest and motivation of students in exploring and seeking independent learning resources also contribute to their low critical thinking skills. This study aims to develop Electronic Student Worksheets (E-LKPD) based on PBL to sharpen students' critical thinking skills on matrix material in grade XI of SMA Negeri 1 Jiwan. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) development model. Data collection techniques used include observation techniques, interviews, questionnaires, and learning outcome tests. Data analysis techniques used are by conducting validity tests (percentage method), practicality tests (percentage method) and effectiveness tests (N-Gain score method). Learning activities in E-LKPD are adjusted to PBL syntax and critical thinking ability indicators. The results of the study showed that: 1) E-LKPD was declared very valid with an average of 92.5%. 2) E-LKPD met the criteria for being quite practical with an average of 84.88%. 3) E-LKPD met the criteria for being effective with an average of 76.72%. So, PBL-based E-LKPD is valid, practical, and effective for honing students' critical thinking skills, especially in matrix material
