Abstract

ABSTRACT Sholahuddin, Fajar. 2025. Development of Poster Learning Media on Short Story Material for Class IX MTs Qomarul Hidayah Tugu Trenggalek. Supervisor: Dr. Dwi Setiyadi, M.M., Dr. Agung Nasrulloh Saputro, S.Pd., M.Pd. Keywords: development of learning media, poster, short story Learning media is a tool used to facilitate students in understanding learning. Departing from the problem of learning media that is less attractive, to teachers who are less innovative, the background of this research and development. In addition, the attitude of students who get bored easily towards learning using the blackboard is also one of the reasons for this research and development. Therefore, monopoly game learning media needs to be developed in order to create a new atmosphere in short story learning. Learning media was developed based on the ADDIE development model by Robert Maribe Branch. The stages carried out include: 1) analysis, 2) design, 3) development, 4) implementation, and 5) evaluation. Based on these five stages, the researchers carried out the following stages; 1) analysis of student needs, 2) designing learning media designs based on KD 3.5 and 3.6, 3) developing learning media according to needs analysis and design, and 4) evaluating the feasibility of learning media carried out by material experts and media experts. The data in this study are numerical and verbal data. Numerical data obtained from the assessment scores given by the advisor. Meanwhile, verbal data can be obtained from written data in the comments column provided by the advisor. Verbal data is also contained in the results of the needs analysis. The results of the evaluation of the feasibility of learning media, obtained a percentage of 92,5% from the material aspect and 97% from the media aspect. That is, the level of feasibility of learning media is at a very feasible level. The results of further research and development can be disseminated in scientific journals. The results of research and development can also be recommended to be followed up as a medium for learning short story in schools, especially at MTs Qomarul Hidayah.
