Abstract

SMA Negeri 6 Madiun City is an educational institution in Madiun City which is located on Jalan Suhud Nosingo, Mojorejo, Taman District, Madiun City. A website is important for an agency/institution, because the website becomes an identity for the agency/institution so that it is known to the entire community. One of them is SMA Negeri 6 Madiun City which has a school website which aims to introduce and attract the local community so that children register for school at SMAN 6 Madiun. Based on interviews conducted by researchers with Mr Andhika Pratama, S.Kom, who wanted to develop a website but did not understand what should be developed for website users, the researchers carried out an evaluation of the school website using the usability method and system usability scale (SUS). ) which aims to identify how the evaluation results of convenience, comfort and user satisfaction can later give rise to website measurement results and can become a benchmark for developing websites. The research results showed that the overall evaluation score from the SMA Negeri 6 Madiun website was 66.375, which was included in the System Usability Scale (SUS) score interpretation scale category. This score was in the "OK" category and the acceptance was on the threshold between the high and low categories or called "Marginal". And the value for Ease is 2.68, Comfort is 2.43, and Satisfaction is 2.78.
