Abstract

Curriculum changes that are not balanced with readiness can cause problems in learning. The problem that is often encountered in mathematics learning is the lack of student motivation to learn due to the lack of innovation in learning tools. This research aims to develop a Student Worksheet (LKPD) based on local wisdom on opportunity material to increase learning motivation. The development method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model. The subjects of this research were 32 students in class VIII of SMP Negeri 2 Geger Madiun. The instruments used were expert validation sheets, learning motivation questionnaires, student response questionnaires, pre-test questions and post-test questions. The research results showed that the LKPD obtained a validity percentage of 88% in the very valid category, the practicality percentage was 80% in the practical category, the effectiveness of the LKPD obtained an N-Gain percentage of 60% in the medium category and the effectiveness of the LKPD in increasing learning motivation obtained an N-Gain percentage amounting to 58% in the medium category. LKPD based on local wisdom on opportunity material is very valid, practical and effective to use and effective for increasing learning motivation.
