Abstract

This research aims to develop LKPD based on the traditional congklak game using the peer tutoring method to support the learning delivery process and mix it with culture to students so that they can improve results in the process of teaching and learning activities and become more familiar with traditional games. The research method used is 4D (Define, Design, Development, Disseminate). This research was conducted at SMPN 1 Jiwan with the research subjects being class VII students. The data collection techniques used were interviews, documentation, questionnaires and tests. The instruments used are product validation sheets, student response questionnaire validation sheets, question validation questionnaires, student response questionnaire sheets, and test questions. The results of the research show that the traditional congklak game-based LKPD using the peer tutoring method meets (1) valid criteria with a validity percentage of 96%, (2) practical criteria with a percentage of 78%, (3) effective criteria with N-Gain calculations to obtain an effectiveness percentage of 66%. Based on the data obtained, it shows that the LKPD based on the traditional congklak game using the peer tutoring method meets the criteria of being valid, practical and effective so that it is suitable for use as teaching material in the mathematics learning process which functions to improve student learning outcomes.
