Abstract

Computational thinking ability is an important skill to help students solve complex problems in simple ways. computational thinking abilities influence students' mathematics learning outcomes. However, computational thinking abilities and student learning outcomes are still low, so there is a need for learning planning that is relevant and capable of improving student learning outcomes. One of them is by implementing the Problem Based Learning learning model assisted by Ethnofun. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning learning model assisted by Ethnofun on learning outcomes in terms of students' Computational Thinking. The population in this study were all class VIII students at SMPN 2 Geger. The samples in this study were taken using simple random sampling so that classes VIII C and VIII E were selected. The data in this study were analyzed using Two Way ANOVA with Unequal Cells. The results of this research are that Problem Based Learning assisted by Ethnofun is better than Problem Based Learning which can be seen from Fobs = 15.7515 more than Ftable = 4.06 indicating that H0A is rejected, meaning that there are differences in student mathematics learning outcomes between the assisted Problem Based Learning learning model classes. Ethnofun and Problem Based Learning. From the post-ANOVA follow-up test, it was concluded that students' mathematics learning outcomes with the Problem Based Learning learning model assisted by Ethnofun were better than those with the Problem Based Learning learning model.
