Abstract
Computational Thinking (CT) is a student's thinking process in solving problems through four indicator elements, namely decomposition, pattern recognition, abstraction, and algorithms. The aim of this research is to: 1) Describe the CT of students with a visual learning style. 2) Describe the CT of students with an auditory learning style. 3) Describe the CT of students with a kinesthetic learning style. The subjects of this research were 3 students from class VIII D of SMP Negeri 1 Barat with visual, auditory and kinesthetic learning styles. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection uses questionnaires, written tests and interviews. The research results show that: (1) CT students with visual learning styles show indicators of decomposition, pattern recognition, abstraction, and algorithms. Where students break down complex problems into simple ones, ignore unimportant information and focus on important information to solve the problem, arrange the steps for solving them coherently and correctly, but at the pattern recognition stage the subject is not yet correct in carrying out the solution. (2) CT students in the auditory learning style show indicators of decomposition, pattern recognition, abstraction, and algorithmic. Where students break down complex problems into simple ones, identify equation patterns by forming number patterns, ignore unimportant information and focus on important information to solve the problem and arrange the steps to solve it coherently and correctly. (3) CT students in the kinesthetic learning style show indicators of decomposition and abstraction. Where students only describe complex problems into simple problems, but when drawing conclusions by ignoring unimportant information and focusing on important information, the subject is still not correct in solving this because the subject has not yet mastered and understood the material in the problem.
