Abstract
The motivation and learning outcomes of 4th grade students of SDN 6 Baosan Kidul in IPAS-IPS subject studies are still low. The learning outcomes obtained by students classically have not reached the KKTP that has been set, students also lack learning motivation. The low motivation and learning outcomes of students are caused by the learning process still being teacher centered learning, and not developing student interaction. To overcome this case, STAD cooperative learning model is applied, because this learning model can make students active in learning and can interact with their friends. The purpose of this research is to determine whether or not the application of the STAD cooperative learning model can improve students' IPAS-IPS learning outcomes and motivation. The subjects of this study were 14 of 4th grade students of SDN 6 Baosan Kidul, Ngrayun District, Ponorogo Regency. This research is a Classroom Action Research consisting of two cycles. Each cycle consists of four steps, there are planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The data type is in the form of student learning outcome data taken by an evaluation sheet, learning motivation data is taken using a questionnaire. Data obtained before implementation of the STAD cooperative learning model, the average student scores class was 63.64 with classical completeness achievement of only 36%, while the student learning motivation score was only 58.64 (low). After the implementation of the STAD cooperative learning model, student learning outcomes increased. The student score average in cycle I is 79.25 with completeness achievement of 79%. Student learning motivation also increased to 72.57 (moderate). In cycle II, student score average increased to 88.33 with completeness achievement of 100%. Student learning motivation also increased to 86.21 (high). The research result indicate that application of the STAD cooperative learning model in the IPAS-IPS subject studies with the main material is My Role in the School and Community Environment can improve the motivation and learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SDN 6 Baosan Kidul, Ngrayun District, Ponorogo Regency.
