Advisor (1): Advisor (II): Keywords: Analysis of moral values of the violin In general, this study aims to analyze the moral values contained in the novel Biola Tak Berdawai by Seno Gumira Ajidarma and its potential as Indonesian language teaching material for grade IV students of SD Negeri 3 Baosan Lor. The specific purpose of this study is to analyze the moral values of honesty, justice, tolerance, kindness, and responsibility, as well as its potential as Indonesian language teaching material for grade IV of SD Negeri 3 Baosan Lor. This study produces data taken from the novel Biola Tak Berdawai by Seno Gumira Ajidarma. The data in question are direct quotes from the analyzed novel. In detail, the data are data containing moral values of honesty, justice, tolerance, kindness, and responsibility. Furthermore, the data that has been taken is processed using the document study method with a qualitative research approach. Based on the results of an in-depth analysis of the novel Biola Tak Berdawai by Seno Gumira Ajidarma, it contains moral values that are worthy and appropriate to be studied, explored, and analyzed. The moral values in question are the moral values of honesty, the moral values of justice, the moral values of tolerance, the moral values of kindness, and the moral values of responsibility. Furthermore, the results of the analysis are very useful for students and have the potential to be used as Indonesian language teaching materials for class IV of SD Negeri 3 Baosan Lor in particular. As well as a source of learning and enriching the horizons of teachers in elementary schools as a medium for instilling character education.
